Touch-panels or touchscreens are touch-sensitive screens that are used as a combined input and output device for system control. The technology, which has long been part of everyday life on smartphones and tablets, can also be used for the intuitive operation of your Likusta system.
By touching buttons or through visualisation of the process or the system components in the display, the programme sequence of the system can be directly controlled. A finger or a pointer pen can be used for this purpose.
At Likusta, you can define your menu navigations and the displayed functionalities and buttons - our design team will implement it according to your wishes and requirements.
Systems with high complexity and a large number of monitored peripheral devices for sensors and actuators place high demands on system control and computing power. With Likusta, industrial PCs can be used for this purpose. We recommend the use of touch-panels for systems with higher complexity and safety requirements.
Switches and push-buttons are not yet outdated for process control systems: They are a cost-effective and reliable solution especially for simpler systems. Here, elaborate programming is not necessary, and defective parts can be replaced easily - potentially by your own personnel.
All Likusta, control systems and control cabinets are characterised by robust design with protection against moisture, dust, vibration. They offer long-term use, application-specific extensibility in a wide temperature-range. Depending on your requirements, our systems are designed for outdoor or indoor installation.
